I met Espe Figal and Ana Vacas in Sauceda Tres, (saucedatres.com), the shop they opened here, in Seville, in the same name Street. Two seasons have passed since that, spring and summer, and now in autumn they are still turning cold into colors. Their bet success has made them expanding the business and moving with weapons and stock to number 12 in Rosario Street, which has became trendy again.
In this new phase not only they have preserved their name “because is a part of our beginnins”, but they have extended her labels offer in clothes, accessories (purse as the Italian Veneta), scarfs, gloves, umbrellas, semi-precious stone necklaces, earrings, clasps, rings, etc., always looking for the exclusivity and offering the clientele an integral service. However, they are still haunting labels, most of them Andalusian.
In they label payroll are, among others, Oky Koky from Galicia, Bruna from Toledo, Naf Naf from France, Scotch & Soda from Amsterdam and Ana Moraza from Marchena, Seville, who they “met” here, in telademoda.com. In jewelry design, they work with Coolook from Madrid, in which for instance Isabel Preysler also trusts, and exclusively for Sevilla Toya de Carlos, with their semi-precious stones and their clutches.
Dressing the woman in her daily life is the goal of Espe Figal and Ana Vacas, Sauceda Tres. A goal that in Spain is still a pending subject. “We want our clientele to go comfortably to work, with smart and versatile clothes, which can also be worn at night. They trust on us, they agree to be assisted and we make them easier the work to find what they look good with”.
“We are keen on risking in the mix of colors. It is true that we have the classic winter colors, but we always bet on light and color in any clothes, which go from size 38 to 48. And for the winter there is where to choose: ponchos, gabardines, parkas, overcoats, suede coats, jackets and bombers”. And a never ending list of pieces of clothing, like the one Ana Rodríguez Figal is showing in the report.
But Sauceda Tres never quit on thinking in that clientele that wants to go out of the shop dressing from top to bottom but they don’t have much time, which is a rare privilege for women. So they warn us that for this summer they have two great additions. Tartaruga, with a dress collection for the beach, supplemented with bags and towels, and the Alba Conde sport and smart collection. But, meanwhile, they are turning cold into colors.
